Hang hem met de bovenkant gelijk aan de hoogste plank, zodat ze samen als één geheel ogen. Het rood doet de rest: tegen een witte muur springt het naar voren, tegen diep groen zorgt het voor een rustige gloed. Houd de plankindeling ernaast rustig: sobere ruggen, een plant, geen ander rood. Het zwart in het beeld pakt moeiteloos zwarte metalen dragers of een donker walnoothouten kast op. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Gaat het rood botsen met mijn terracotta vloertegels?
Het komt er dichterbij te staan dan ermee te botsen, en dat is precies het risico. Twee warme roodtinten in één hal lopen in elkaar over en geen van beide leest dan duidelijk. Haal ze uit elkaar met de muurkleur. Een witte of diepgroene muur tussen tegel en beeld geeft het rood een strakke rand en laat de tegels een basis blijven in plaats van een concurrent.
Hoe groot moet ik gaan voor een smalle halmuur?
Ga hoger dan comfortabel voelt. Op een muur van ongeveer 90 cm breed ziet een werk van 50 cm breed en 100 cm hoog er vanaf de voordeur goed uit, omdat je een gang van afstand en in de lengte bekijkt. Laat onderaan ongeveer een handbreedte meer muur vrij dan bovenaan, en houd de bovenkant vrij van een sierlijst of picture rail zodat de vorm de ruimte krijgt om te staan.
Werkt het ook op een donkere muur?
Ja, en vaak zelfs beter. Op antraciet of diepgroen komt het rood naar voren en valt de zwarte vorm bijna samen met de muur, waardoor het beeld leest als een gloeiend rood vlak met een uitgesneden vorm. Op wit draait het effect om en staat de hele rechthoek juist los van de muur. Beide werken, maar donkere muren passen bij een sfeervollere hal en wit past bij een lichte woonkamer.
