    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the pale blue read as too cold in a warm room?

    It leans cool but stays soft rather than icy. Against warm pale oak, cream linen or off-white plaster it feels calming rather than chilly. If your room is very warm — deep terracotta, mustard, dark wood — the blue may feel like a jump. A black frame helps ground it in warmer schemes.

    Are the birds detailed enough to read from across a room?

    The birds are small, deliberately so. From across a room you'll see the pale moon and a thin ribbon of movement below it. Up close the individual silhouettes come forward. That's the point of the piece — quiet from the doorway, more considered when you're near it.

    Does it work above a bed or is it better on a narrow wall?

    Both work. The portrait shape suits above-bed hanging on a headboard wall, and it's equally at home on a narrow hallway wall or between two windows. Aim for a medium size above furniture so the moon sits at roughly standing eye level.
