We're serious about art, ask away

Van formaat tot lijst en drukkwaliteit: Fab's kunsexperts leggen het allemaal uit — zodat je de juiste kunst voor jouw huis vindt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

What size works above a double bed or sofa?

Aim for roughly two thirds of the furniture width. Above a 150 cm double bed or a three-seat sofa, a large size of around 100 cm wide keeps the cropped petals readable and the proportions right. Smaller sizes suit a console or narrow sideboard, but the shapes lose some of their sweep when the piece is too short for the wall.

Which colours does it bring into a room?

The main ground is a warm cream with blush pink and off-white petals. Around them are burnt orange, sage green, mustard ochre and a few deep charcoal curves. It sits most naturally with warm whites, rust and tan textiles, olive plants and mid-toned wood, and looks less settled against cool grey or bright blue schemes.

Is it obviously a flower or more abstract?

Both. Up close it reads as overlapping flat shapes with a soft painted texture, and from a few steps back the petals resolve into one large bloom radiating from the centre. That makes it a good choice if you like florals but want something calmer and more graphic than a detailed botanical study.
