How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the cool sea-green sky clash with a warm, neutral room?
It can. The northern-lights green and icy blues sit best with off-white, navy, charcoal, pale oak or birch. In rooms built around terracotta, mustard or warm sand, the cool background will pull against the scheme rather than settle into it. If your room leans warm but you love the piece, try it on a cooler wall colour, or in a hallway as a contrast moment rather than a feature in the main living space.
Is this suitable for a child's bedroom?
Yes. The husky's expression is gentle and the styling — fur hood, chunky knit scarf — leans into storybook adventure rather than anything scary. It works well above a small chest of drawers or a reading nook, hung at child eye-level. How big should I go for a study or hallway wall?
A medium portrait sits at the sweet spot. It's big enough to feel like a proper focal point at close viewing distance — around 1.5 to 2.5 metres away — without overwhelming a narrow hallway or a desk wall. For a wider wall above a console or low bookshelf, size up so the piece sits comfortably within the furniture below, with a hand's width of breathing room each side.
