Over dit kunstwerk
Als je keuken te vol oogt, helpt deze botanische studie. De artisjok is opgebouwd uit egale kleurvlakken in donkergroen, saliegroen en zacht crème, met in het midden een klein paars hart.
Hang hem op en de ruimte oogt meteen minder druk. De vlakke kleuren en heldere vormen trekken de blik naar één punt; dat brengt rust op een druk aanrecht of een volle plank.
Past op een accentmuur in de keuken, in een ontbijthoek of aan de wand in de eethoek boven een dressoir. Het staande formaat komt mooi uit tussen kasten of op een smalle wand.
Combineer met eiken of licht hout, linnen, crèmekleurig aardewerk en één textielaccent in salie- of olijfgroen. Messing kraanbeslag haalt de warmte uit de crèmekleurige achtergrond op.
Overlaad dezelfde muur niet met andere uitgesproken botanische werken — één krachtige groene studie oogt beter dan drie concurrerende. Gedrukt op dik fine art-papier met een strakke, matte afwerking.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the green strong enough to hold a wall on its own, or does it need a pair?
It can hold a wall on its own at medium size. The dark forest green outlines and the layered sage give it enough weight to anchor a kitchen feature wall or a sideboard without a companion piece. If you do want to pair it, choose something quieter — a small line drawing or a single citrus study — rather than another bold green subject.
Will it clash in a kitchen that already has sage or olive cabinets?
It can. The print leans into green, so a fully green kitchen risks blurring it into the cabinetry. It works best where the room is mostly cream, white or pale timber and the artichoke gets to be the one green moment. If your cabinets are sage, hang it on a contrasting cream wall well away from them.
How big should I go above a standard sideboard or kitchen run?
Aim for the print to span roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture or wall section below it. For a standard 120cm sideboard, a medium portrait print works well; for a longer kitchen run between cabinets, size up so the artichoke reads clearly from across the room.
