How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep greens feel too dark in a small room?
No — the background is a warm cream that takes up about half the print, so the greens read as foliage rather than as a heavy block of colour. In a small study or hallway the print will feel like a window onto something rather than something looming on the wall.
Is the nest and the third bird in flight clearly visible, or is it lost in the leaves?
Both are clearly visible. The woven hanging nest sits at the centre-left with the female perched on it, and there's a male feeding from above-right plus a third bird mid-flight in the upper right. The composition rewards a closer look without being cluttered at a glance.
Does this work next to modern furniture, or only in traditional rooms?
It can bridge into transitional rooms if the materials are warm — oak, walnut, linen, brass. Where it struggles is full modern minimalism with chrome, glass and cool greys; the cream paper and warm yellows want a softer, more lived-in setting.
