Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm brown and dusty pink clash with cool grey walls?
It can. The portrait sits in warm browns, cream and dusty pink, so it looks happiest against off-white, warm beige or soft pink plaster walls. On a cool grey or crisp white wall, the warmth can read slightly orange. A warm brown frame helps bridge it, but a warm wall is the easier match.
Is the brushwork meant to look unfinished?
Yes. This is one of Morisot's late works from 1893, painted in her loose, almost sketch-like style. The hands and dress are barely defined, while the face and flower are more worked up. Up close it looks loose; from a metre or two away it reads as a soft, complete portrait.
Does it work in a small room?
Very well. The palette is gentle and low-contrast, so it doesn't dominate a small bedroom, dressing area or narrow hallway. A medium size above a chest of drawers or slim console is the sweet spot. Avoid going too large in a small room — the soft brushwork loses its intimacy at scale.
