How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the black cat shape look too heavy in a small room?
The black coat is the strongest shape, but the cream background and soft brushwork keep it from feeling heavy. In a small room, hang it on a pale wall and leave a bit of breathing space either side rather than crowding it with shelves or other framed pieces.
Does the deep blue read as navy or a brighter blue?
The pots and rug stripes sit in a deep, slightly inky navy rather than a bright cobalt. It pairs cleanly with warm creams, oak, rattan and most off-white walls, and won't fight with mustard, terracotta or olive accents elsewhere in the room.
Is this better above a sofa or in a hallway?
Both work. The portrait shape and confident centre make it a strong above-sofa or above-console piece, and the medium size suits a narrow hallway above a slim console. It's less suited to wide horizontal walls where a landscape format would sit better.
