How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the dog's face show, or is it definitely from behind?
It's definitely from behind — ears up, head turned away. You see the back of the head, the ears, and the body in a seated pose. If you want a portrait where the dog's face is the focus, this isn't that piece; it's deliberately quieter and more about presence than expression.
Will the soft greys still read on a white wall?
Yes — that's exactly where it sits best. The inky near-black does the heavy lifting and pulls the eye, while the soft greys read as gentle washes against a chalky off-white or pure white wall. On deep or dark walls the greys would get lost, so pale is the way to go.
Is the breed recognisable as a Boston Terrier specifically?
Yes — the upright pointed ears, the compact seated posture and the patchy black-and-white markings all read as Boston Terrier from behind. It's loose enough to feel like art rather than a breed illustration, but Boston owners will recognise the shape immediately.
