    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Ziet het marineblauw er niet te zwaar uit in een kleine badkamer?

    Alleen als de muren ook donker zijn. Tegen witte tegels of lichte verf geeft de crèmekleurige achtergrond het marineblauw ruimte om te ademen, en leest de vorm fris in plaats van somber. In een badkamer zonder ramen of op het noorden houd je het beter rond 40 of 50 cm vierkant en combineer je het met een helderwitte muur. In een badkamer met goed daglicht kun je groter gaan zonder dat de ruimte benauwd voelt.

    Welke maat werkt naast een badkamerspiegel?

    Stem de hoogte af op de spiegel, niet op de breedte. Een vierkant van 50 cm past mooi naast een standaard ronde of rechthoekige spiegel van 60 tot 70 cm, met de bovenranden op één lijn. Laat minstens 15 cm tussen de twee, zodat ze als een paar lezen in plaats van als een druk geheel. Boven een console of boekenkast mik je op ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van het meubel.

    Is de octopus niet te serieus voor een kinderkamer, of te kinderachtig voor een volwassen interieur?

    Geen van beide, en dat is precies het punt van een simpele silhouetvorm. In een kinderkamer geven de krullende armen en ronde ogen karakter zonder in cartoonterrein te belanden. In een keuken of badkamer leest de vlakke, grafische snit als ontwerp van een drukker, niet als kinderkamermotief. Het is een van de weinige zeedierposters die kan meebewegen met een veranderend gezin.
