How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep red-orange figure feel too strong in a calm room?
It's the focal point, but the cream background takes up more than half the picture, so the overall feel stays soft. In a calm room, the warm orange acts like a single coloured cushion or throw — it draws the eye without dominating, especially when balanced with linen, pale wood and warm neutrals.
Does this work in a nursery without looking too childish?
Yes. The figures are painted in a quiet, modern folk style rather than a cartoon style, so it sits comfortably in a nursery now and still works in a child's bedroom or family hallway later. Pair it with simple wooden furniture and soft cotton textiles to keep the feel grown-up.
What wall colours suit this best?
Warm off-whites, soft cream, oat and pale clay walls let the orange sand and red-orange figure sing. It also works on a soft mustard or warm putty feature wall. Avoid cool blue-greys and bright white walls — they make the warm tones look slightly orphaned.
