Het vierkante formaat past precies op een strook muur zo breed als de deur, terwijl de saliegroene achtergrond rustig blijft in zacht licht. Drie uilen slapend op een tak zetten de toon voor een kamer waarin je tot rust komt. Hang op ooghoogte wanneer je binnenloopt. Op offwhite of krijtwitte muren komt het groen subtiel naar achteren en laat het de zwarte lijn het werk doen. Een dennenhouten deur in hetzelfde groen wordt snel te veel—hou de deur wit.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Gaat het groen botsen met een muur in saliekleur?
    Het past juist goed. De ondergrond is een middentint salie met een olijfzweem, dus een lichtere saliegroene muur laat het hele vierkant rusten en draagt de zwarte uilen. Als je de verf exact matcht, verdwijnen de randen, wat sommige mensen mooi vinden. Ga twee of drie tinten lichter op de muur als je wilt dat de poster zijn eigen omlijning houdt.

    Welk formaat werkt op een smalle strook muur naast een deur?
    Meet de strook eerst op. Op een muur van 60 tot 80 cm breed laat een vierkant van 40 of 50 cm aan beide kanten een handbreedte vrije muur over en oogt het goed vanaf de deuropening. Groter maakt de deuromlijsting te druk en verliezen de vogels hun rust. Op een overloop of boven een console kun je naar 70 cm gaan en de muur toch rustig houden.

    Is dit te donker voor een kinderkamer?
    De zwarte lijn is stevig, maar het onderwerp zijn drie slapende vogels, en dat is ongeveer zo zacht als een beeld kan zijn. In een babykamer of kinderkamer oogt de groene ondergrond zacht in plaats van somber, zeker tegen witte of crèmekleurige muren. Het past beter bij een slaaphoek dan bij een speelmuur, en het blijft ook mooi als het kind vijftien is.
