Morris’ zwarte lijn blijft scherp, ook lang nadat de zon de trap heeft verlaten, terwijl de roomkleurige achtergrond zelf nog wat licht vasthoudt. Hang deze poster op een plek waar je twee keer per dag langsloopt: op de tussenoverloop of aan de hoge wand bij de draai. Geverfde lambrisering in krijtwit vormt een rustige basis. Een traploper in verweerd rood pakt de kleine rode accenten in de bladeren subtiel op. ’s Ochtends komen de potloodlijnen en het onaffe deel weer naar voren, waardoor het werk leest als een werktekening. Geef het hoogte – minstens een meter – en laat die muur verder leeg voor maximale impact. Op fine-art papier blijft de zachtheid van de potloodondertekening behouden.

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Voelt de zwarte inkt zwaar in een kleine hal?
    Minder dan je zou verwachten. Het grootste deel van het vel is crème en potlood, dus de muur blijft licht en de zwarte lijn leest als patroon in plaats van als een donker blok. Houd de muurkleur licht, gebroken wit of zacht steen, en de inkt komt naar voren zonder de ruimte te sluiten. Een donkergroene muur kan ook, maar houd de rest van de hal dan rustig.

    Hoe hoog moet ik gaan op een trapbordes?
    Richt op minstens een meter hoog. Het ontwerp is smal en fijn getekend, dus een kleine versie wordt onderaan de trap grijze textuur. Op 100 tot 120 cm hoog blijven de duiven en bladeren leesbaar vanaf twee of drie meter afstand, en de staande vorm vult de lastige hoge plek die een bordes meestal heeft. Centreer hem op de muur en laat de rest leeg.

    Ziet de onvoltooide helft er vreemd uit als hij eenmaal aan de muur hangt?
    Hij leest als wat het is: een werktekening, en dat is juist de charme. De afgewerkte kant draagt het gewicht, de potloodkant laat de muur ademen, en samen lijken ze meer op een pagina uit een atelier dan op een herhaling van een rol. In een studeerkamer of hal met oude boeken, lambrisering of versleten leer voelt hij helemaal op zijn plaats. Wil je een compleet patroon, kies dan liever een afgewerkt Morris-ontwerp.
