How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep red feel too much in a small kitchen?
Not if the rest of the room stays calm. The red lives mainly inside the picture, so a cream, clay or soft white wall lets it sing without taking over. Keep nearby surfaces simple — wood, stoneware, linen — and the print becomes the colourful focal point rather than a clash.
Does it work in a dining room as well as a kitchen?
Yes. The brunch subject suits both, but dining rooms give it more breathing space. Hang it above a sideboard or console behind the table, around 145–150 cm to the centre, so it reads cleanly while people are seated and still looks anchored when the room is empty.
What sort of frame suits this best?
A slim black frame works best. It picks up the inky outlines in the painting, sharpens the bold colour blocks and stops the loose brushwork from feeling too busy. Oak or warm brown can soften it, but black keeps the piece looking modern and gallery-ready in a kitchen or dining setting.
