    Over dit kunstwerk
    Veel kinderkamers barsten van de kleur en missen een rustige plek voor het oog. Wat vaak ontbreekt, is één groot, duidelijk vormgegeven beeld. Hang aan de smalle wand naast het bed een mosterdgele octopus op donkerblauw en ineens voelt het losse speelgoed als onderdeel van het geheel. De donkere achtergrond bundelt de drukte; het geel trekt de aandacht. Hang hem lekker hoog en smal. In de badkamer werkt hij net zo goed tegen witte tegels: het navy oogt bijna zwart en de ruimte krijgt een nieuwe diepte. Pijnboomhouten plankjes en een gestreept katoenen kleed passen er prima bij. Op die muur hoeft verder niets. Eén tentakel op kindhoogte is precies de bedoeling. Gedrukt op fine art-papier blijft het geel mooi vlak en mat, wat perfect past bij de handgeschilderde uitstraling.

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wordt het geel niet te fel in een kleine badkamer?
    Het leest als mosterd in plaats van citroen, dus het geeft warmte aan een kleine ruimte zonder te schreeuwen.
