    In november voelt een hal al snel als een kille corridor. Het licht is weg rond vier uur, de muren worden grauw en de trap is vooral een doorgang. Hang deze poster op de overloop: het oranje doet wat een lamp niet kan. Diep tealgroen trekt terug in de schaduw, terwijl de gesmolten naad het laatste licht opvangt en vasthoudt. Tegen kale pleister of een kalkachtig gebroken wit oogt de kleur nog warmer. Houd de vloer rustig: een donkere wollen traploper, geen patronen eromheen. In het voorjaar wordt het verrassend kalm; met meer daglicht komt het teal omhoog en leest het werk als water in plaats van vuur. In beide seizoenen verdient het zijn plek, zeker in de koude maanden – dat is de test. Op fine-art papier achter een zwarte lijst wordt het oranje nog scherper.     All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Botst het oranje met een teal- of marineblauwe muur?
    Integendeel. Teal- en marineblauwe muren pakken de grondtoon van het werk op, waardoor de randen bijna verdwijnen en alleen de oranje ader naar voren komt. Zo krijg je één heldere lijn op een donkere muur in plaats van een kleurvlak. Botsingen ontstaan juist op middentoonmuren, vooral warme grijzen en beiges, die zowel met teal als met oranje botsen en het oranje tegelijk flets maken.

    Hoe hoog moet het zijn om op een trap goed te werken?
    Richt op minstens 80 cm hoog, en boven 100 cm als de muur van het bordes over een volledige verdieping doorloopt. De ader loopt diagonaal, en die lijn heeft lengte nodig om het oog mee omhoog te trekken met de trap. Hang het zo op dat de onderkant ongeveer op heuphoogte vanaf de bordesvloer zit, niet volgens de ooghoogteregel die je in een woonkamer gebruikt, omdat mensen ernaar kijken terwijl ze omhoog lopen.

    Is dit alleen voor hallen, of past het ook in een woonkamer?
    Het werkt in een woonkamer als er echt een hoge, smalle plek is om te vullen, zoals de ruimte tussen twee ramen, de muur naast een schoorsteen of het stuk naast een deur. Op een brede muur achter de bank oogt het verloren. Donkere muren, tan leer en een houtkachel vormen de beste combinatie, en in weinig winterlicht komt het oranje het warmst over.
