Over dit kunstwerk
Eerst de eiken lijst; die maakt het verschil en laat je keuken zien dat je het meent. Een hele watermeloen op een dikke roze plak, geschilderd in vlakke kleurvlakken felgroen, donkergroen en zachtroze op een warme crèmekleurige achtergrond.
Het geeft de ruimte net dat beetje extra, zonder te schreeuwen. De roze punt zet een vriendelijke toon tegen witte tegels en licht hout, en de donkergroene strepen geven de muur een stevig anker, waardoor het geheel gebalanceerd oogt in plaats van zoetig.
Hang 'm boven een ontbijtbar, in de strook tussen de koelkast en de deur van de voorraadkast, of boven een kleine eettafel zodat je 'm ziet terwijl je kookt. Ooghoogte werkt; op een hoge wand mag hij gerust iets hoger.
Combineer met linnen theedoeken, terracotta potten, een houten snijplank die je laat staan, en roze of saliegroene keramiek. Een hangende pothos in de buurt laat het groen onderdeel van de ruimte worden.
Omring 'm niet met andere fruitposters - dan wordt het geen knipoog meer maar een thema. Eén uitgesproken stuk, met rustige bijspelers eromheen. Gedrukt op dik fine-art papier met een zachte, matte afwerking.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink read as too sweet in an adult kitchen?
The pink is balanced by quite a lot of dark green and a warm cream ground, so it lands as cheerful rather than girlish. On a pale wall next to oak or stoneware, it reads as a friendly accent — not a pastel statement. If your kitchen leans very neutral, it brings warmth without taking over.
Is this better above a counter or above a dining table?
Both work. Above a counter, hang it slightly higher than usual so it clears appliances and clutter. Above a small dining table, eye-level from a seated position is ideal. The portrait shape suits narrower gaps — between cabinets, beside a pantry door, or on a thin stretch of wall.
Does it work on a coloured or wallpapered wall?
It needs a calm background to do its job. A pale cream, soft white or very light sage wall lets the dark green stripes and pink wedge stay punchy. Busy wallpaper or a strong accent colour will fight the print and dull the joke. If your walls are bold, hang it on the quietest one you have.
