    Kies groter dan je denkt. Op 60 cm is de heks een detail dat je van dichtbij ontdekt. Ga naar 90 cm en zij wordt de reden dat de hal bestaat, terwijl het roestoranje in de bomen de hele muur verwarmt in plaats van één hoek. De houtskoolgrijze lucht combineert prachtig met gebroken wit stucwerk. Donker geschilderd lambrisering werkt ook, als je het maanlicht het werk wilt laten doen. Hang hem aan de muur tegenover de voordeur, zodat de weg naar iedereen toe loopt die binnenkomt. Houd de console eronder rustig: één lage kaars, geen oranje. Kleinere formaten passen in een werkkamer, op ooghoogte boven het bureau, waar je elke week een nieuwe vleermuis ontdekt. Ruimtes waar veel mensen passeren vragen om het grote formaat.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Ziet dit er niet te seizoensgebonden uit om na Halloween te laten hangen?
    Het leest eerst als herfst en pas daarna als Halloween. De heks is klein en de pompoen staat in een hoek, dus van een afstand zie je vooral een maanverlicht dorp in oranje en grijs. De meeste mensen hangen hem begin september op en halen hem weg wanneer de klok verzet wordt, al blijft hij in een donkere hal met groene of pruimkleurige muren prima hangen tot Kerst.

    Welke maat moet ik kiezen voor een hal?
    Ga groot. In een smalle hal zie je hem recht vanaf de voordeur, vaak op drie meter afstand, en dan verliest een middelmaat het figuurtje op de weg. Een vierkant van 70 tot 90 cm vult de muur boven een consoletafel en houdt de maan en toren goed leesbaar. Laat aan beide kanten minstens 10 cm vrije muur over, zodat de donkere lucht de deuropening niet te veel insluit.

    Maakt de donkere lucht een kleine kamer niet donkerder?
    Minder dan je verwacht. Het antraciet beslaat ongeveer een derde van het beeld, en de verlichte ramen, de maan en de lichte weg kaatsen warmte terug de kamer in. Op een witte muur is het contrast scherp en springt het oranje eruit. Op een donkergroene of pruimkleurige muur versmelt de lucht met de verf en voelt de kamer knus in plaats van somber.
