    Dit werk komt volledig tot zijn recht in oktober. Als de klok teruggaat en de hal om vijf uur al donker is, brengt het warme oranje precies het licht dat de plafondlamp mist. Hang de poster in de entree, op de muur die je ziet zodra je de voordeur opent, zodat je thuiskomt in warmte in plaats van grijs. Offwhite muren passen er prachtig bij. Een leisteenvloer pakt het natte grijs van de straat op, waardoor het blad nog feller gloeit. Houd kapstok en console rustig, en kies een effen loper zonder patroon. In december voelt dit beeld als onderdeel van het huis, en in april is het nog steeds een prettige, regenachtige middag. Kies bij voorkeur minimaal 60 cm vierkant; kleiner en de straat wordt een ansichtkaart. Op fine-artpapier blijven de zachte wassingen mooi intact.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Wordt het oranje te sterk in een kleine woonkamer?
    Niet als de rest van de kamer rustig blijft. Het oranje zit tussen veel grijs en zacht bruin, waardoor het aan de muur als warmte leest in plaats van als een blok kleur.     Welke maat moet ik kiezen boven een bank?
    Richt op ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van de bank, wat voor de meeste driezitsbanken neerkomt op 70 tot 90 cm vierkant. De figuren op de weg en de reflecties zijn klein, dus bij 40 of 50 cm vervagen ze van de andere kant van de kamer tot textuur. Boven een sidetable of in een hal is 60 cm genoeg, omdat je dichterbij staat.

    Past dit alleen in de herfstmaanden?
    Hij verdient zijn plek van oktober tot maart, wanneer de hal tegen etenstijd donker is en het oranje echt werkt.
