How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm brick reds clash with a cool grey or blue room?
It can fight a strongly cool scheme. The painting leans warm — brick red, cream and soft brown — so it sits best with off-white, muted sage, soft clay or warm grey walls. If your room is built on cool blues and crisp whites, hang it in a hallway or study with warm wood and linen nearby rather than the main living wall.
Is the detail still readable at a smaller size?
The brickwork and figures hold up well at medium sizes when you hang it where people pass close — above a desk, console or hallway shelf at eye level. For a large feature wall where viewers stand back, size up so the small details in the doorways and windows still reward a closer look.
What kind of room does this suit best?
It feels most at home in studies, libraries, hallways and traditional or dark-academia living rooms — anywhere with warm woods, linen, leather, brass and chalky painted walls. It also works in a quietly transitional room as a single heritage anchor against simpler modern furniture.
