    Kuniyoshi maakte dit werk om je te laten lachen. Geef het daarom een eigen muur zonder afleiding. Haal de kleine lijstjes eromheen weg en laat de plank eronder half leeg. De beste plek: achter de eettafel op ooghoogte, tegen witte tegels of een strakke, gestuukte muur. De vergrijsde oranje tint komt het mooist uit bij lichte wanden en onbehandeld hout; vermijd een accentmuur in warmer dan gebroken wit. Houd ook drukke rolgordijnen en opvallend servies uit hetzelfde zichtveld. Eén beeld, één muur. Laat de ruimte één sterk idee hebben – en de rust om daar te stoppen. Wil je toch een tweede werk? Hang het dan aan de overkant van de kamer, niet ernaast. Gedrukt op premium fine-art papier. Een eenvoudige zwarte lijst zet de strakke lijnvoering kracht bij, zonder een tweede idee toe te voegen.

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Botst het oranje met een keuken die al warme tinten heeft?

    Dat hangt af van hoeveel oranje er al is. Tegen eiken, essen, crème of wit komt het mooi op en oogt het bewust gekozen. Tegen terracottategels, keukenkastjes in burnt orange of een roestkleurige muur verliest het zijn scherpte en gaan de twee oranjes met elkaar in de clinch. Is je keuken al warm, hang het dan op de witste muur die je hebt en houd de dichtstbijzijnde oppervlakken rustig.

    Welke maat werkt het best op een badkamermuur?

    In een kleine badkamer of een toilet beneden is 40 tot 50 cm vierkant ruim voldoende. Je kijkt er van dichtbij naar, vaak vanaf een meter afstand, en op dat formaat komen de lijnen en ogen goed uit. Bewaar 70 cm en groter voor een grotere familiebadkamer of een keuken waar mensen er van verder weg naar kijken. Hang het op staand ooghoogte, niet boven het reservoir.

    Is dit geschikt voor een kinderkamer?

    Voor kinderen vanaf ongeveer zes jaar werkt het prima. De komische starende ogen, de tentakels en de kat in kimono zijn precies het soort dingen waar kinderen eindeloos om moeten lachen, en het oranje past goed bij primaire kleuren en houten speelgoed. Voor een babykamer is het wat heftig, omdat die wijde blik in een donkere kamer ’s avonds onrustig kan overkomen.
