Over dit kunstwerk
Drie dingen die deze poster meteen doet: zet zachtroze stevig neer, maakt zwart lakwerk scherper en wekt de slaapkamer. Een katje zit in een halo van roze en gele vlammen, met heldere ogen en een sprankelende halsband tegen een sterachtige, zwarte achtergrond.
Hang hem op en de kamer wordt op de juiste manier levendiger. Zwarte muren voelen niet langer vlak. Een kale bedwand krijgt een blikvanger. De roze halo laat koele blauwtinten en chroom die al in de ruimte zijn beter uitkomen.
Hang het beste op ooghoogte op een donkere of gebroken witte muur, boven een laag dressoir, een bureau, of solo op een smalle slaapkamerwand. Het staande formaat past mooi in de ruimte tussen een kledingkast en een raam.
Combineer met fluwelen kussens in knalroze of hemelsblauw, een pluizig kleed, zwart gelakt of chromen meubilair en heldere acryl- of glasoppervlakken. Een zwarte of chromen lijst houdt de energie scherp.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the black background as dark as it looks on screen?
Yes — the black ground is deep and even, with fine star specks scattered across it. That dark base is what stops the pink and yellow flame from feeling sugary, so on a real wall the print reads bold rather than candy-sweet, even under warm lamplight.
Will this work in a room that isn't already maximalist?
It can, as long as you let it be the loud thing. One bold piece on an otherwise calm wall — black, charcoal or soft off-white — works better than dropping it into a room already full of busy posters. Give it space and one chrome or glass object nearby.
What size suits a standard bedroom wall above a dresser or desk?
Medium is the sweet spot — large enough to anchor the wall above a low dresser or desk, but not so big the halo dominates the room. Hang it at eye level, roughly 1.5 to 2.5 metres back is where the detail in the collar and stars reads best.
