How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the off-white background true white or warmer?
It's a soft, slightly warm cream rather than bright white. That lets the deep green and navy land without feeling cold or clinical, and it sits well on plaster, off-white paint or pale stone walls. On a stark bright-white wall the cream ground reads even warmer, which usually works in its favour.
Will it look too busy in a small living room?
It is a busy piece by design — lots of overlapping shapes in strong colour. In a small room it can still work if you give it a clear wall on its own and keep cushions, rugs and other art quiet. If your sofa, curtains and rug are already patterned, this won't be the right piece.
Does it work above a bed, or is it really a living-room piece?
It can sit above a bed in a teen or guest room where colour is welcome, but in a calm primary bedroom it tends to feel loud at the head of the bed. It's happiest above a sofa, console or sideboard, or on a hallway end wall where you want a strong finish.
