Verf de muur offwhite of zacht kiezel; nooit tan, want de camelkleur komt beter tot zijn recht tegen iets lichters. Laat vervolgens het rood spreken. Geen loper met een druk patroon, geen rij familiefoto’s ernaast; hooguit een eenvoudige eiken bank eronder als zitplek. Tussen twee ramen op de overloop werkt het net zo goed: hang op ooghoogte, zonder iets erboven of eronder. Houd de verlichting warm en de wanden rustig. Gedrukt op fineart-papier blijft de kleur vlak en mat, wat perfect past bij de geschilderde uitstraling.

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wordt het rood niet te veel in een kleine hal?

    Niet als de muur erachter licht is. Het rood zit in smalle vlakken op een camelbruine achtergrond, dus vanaf de deuropening leest het als strepen in plaats van een grote kleurvlak. Problemen beginnen pas als de hal in tan, beige of warm bruin is geschilderd, omdat de achtergrond dan wegvalt en het rood gaat zweven. Gebroken wit of leemkleur houdt het in balans.

    Hoe hoog moet de muur zijn?

    Bij het grote formaat is het werk ongeveer twee keer zo hoog als breed, dus reken op minimaal 1,2 m vrije hoogte met ongeveer 20 cm erboven en eronder. Een standaard plafondhoogte van 2,4 m geeft volop ruimte. De breedte is minder belangrijk: een muur van 50 cm kan al, en daarom past hij goed in een nis naast een trap of tussen twee ramen.

    Werkt het in een kamer die al boekenkasten heeft?

    Het werkt beter waar die er niet zijn. Naast echte planken wordt het een afbeelding van het ding ernaast en verliest het zijn punt. Zet hem in de hal, op de overloop of in een studeerkamer met een eenvoudig bureau en gesloten opbergruimte, en hij staat in voor de bibliotheek zonder nog een meubel toe te voegen. Eén vaas met rode bloemen erbij is genoeg gezelschap.
