Leisteen of kalksteen op de vloer sluit mooi aan bij de watertinten. Hang de poster op de overloop die je vanaf de voordeur ziet, iets lager dan je zou denken, zodat de bovenste vis op ooghoogte komt als je de trap oploopt.     All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wordt het oranje te sterk in een kleine hal?

    In een smalle ruimte doet het oranje echt werk: het geeft de gang één warm punt waar je naartoe loopt. Het wordt pas te veel als iets anders in de hal ermee concurreert, zoals een rode loper of een terracotta deur. Houd muren gebroken wit of steen en vloeren donker of neutraal, dan leest het oranje als accent in plaats van als een muur van kleur.

    Hoe hoog moet ik zo’n hoog werk ophangen op een trap?

    Op een bordes hang je het zo dat het midden net onder staand ooghoogte zit. De hoogte van het werk trekt je blik sowieso omhoog, dus wat lager beginnen voorkomt dat het tegen het plafond lijkt te zweven. Op een schuine trapmuur lijn je de onderrand uit parallel aan de trapleuning, ongeveer een handbreedte erboven.

    Lijkt het goud geel op de muur, of oogt het juist metallisch?

    Het oogt warm, niet geel. Naast koel grijsbauw ligt de goudkleurige ondergrond dichter bij oud messing, dus het werkt goed met warme wittinten, steen en donker hout zonder dat een kamer mosterdkleurig wordt. Onder een lamp in de avond wordt het duidelijk warmer, daarom passen slaapkamers en hallen met avondlicht hier goed bij. In fel daglicht koelt het af naar zacht zand.
