    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Blijft het diepe blauw goed uitkomen in een kamer op het noorden?
    Ja, en eigenlijk nog beter. Koel noorderlicht maakt warme kleuren vaak vlakker, maar een verzadigd blauw behoudt zijn diepte, en de zandkleurige lucht voorkomt dat het koel oogt. Hang hem liever aan de muur tegenover het raam dan ernaast, zodat het licht gelijkmatig over het hele vierkant valt. Warmwitte of zandkleurige verf achter de poster maakt meer verschil dan de ligging van de kamer.

    Botst dit met een navy bank?
    Niet als je de twee blauwtinten wat afstand geeft. Hang hem boven de bank, dan komt het fellere meerblauw tegen de muur te staan en niet tegen de bekleding, zodat het navy eronder als donkerder basis leest in plaats van als concurrent. Voeg een of twee roest- of gebrande oranje kussens toe om de zon en kliffen met de zithoek te verbinden. Vermijd nog een derde blauwtint in de kamer.

    Werkt een vierkante poster in een hal, of moet het een liggend formaat zijn?
    Een vierkant werkt heel goed op de wand aan het einde van een hal, waar je er recht op afkijkt terwijl je ernaartoe loopt. Op de lange zijwanden past een vierkant beter dan een breed formaat, omdat het tussen deuren past. Kies een formaat van ongeveer 50 tot 60 cm zodat het ook van verre goed opvalt, en houd de muur eromheen rustig.
