How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the pattern feel too busy in a small room?
It's detailed but the warm cream ground keeps it breathable, so it actually opens up small rooms rather than crowding them. The trick is to keep the wall it sits on plain — a soft green, off-white or pale plaster works best. Keep nearby surfaces simple and let this be the pattern in the room.
Does the red read more orange or true red?
The apples are a warm, slightly muted red — closer to a ripe tomato than a fire-engine red, with a hint of warmth that ties to the soft brown branches. They sit comfortably with terracotta, mustard, deep green and warm neutrals, and don't fight a chalky cream or sage wall.
Is the arched border cropped or fully visible?
The decorative arched border frames the top and sides of the composition and is fully part of the design — it isn't cropped tight. The tree sits centred underneath it, with the trunk rising from a band of foliage at the base, giving the whole piece a tapestry-like feel.
