    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Is the cat too small to read well from across the room?

    The cat's face sits roughly in the upper-middle of the composition, framed by the dark window, so it reads clearly from a couple of metres away. The hydrangeas and daisies pull the eye up to it. At a medium size above a chest or chair, the cat is the obvious focal point even from a doorway.

    Will the soft greens and pinks clash with a pale blue nursery?

    No — the window frame in the artwork is a chalky blue itself, so a pale blue nursery is one of its best homes. The cream background settles against most wall colours, and the soft pink hydrangeas read as a warm accent rather than a competing colour.

    Does this work in a grown-up room, or is it really just for children?

    It works in adult rooms too, especially cottage-style hallways, reading corners and guest bedrooms with painted wood and linen. The composition is gentle but considered, and the dark green window keeps it from feeling purely childish. It's a quiet anchor rather than a nursery-only piece.
