How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does this work in a small kitchen or will the colours feel too busy?
It holds up well in a small kitchen because the background is a chalky off-white — most of the picture is light. The deep green, red and yellow read as accent shapes rather than a wall of colour, so it adds warmth without closing the room in. Medium size is usually the right call in a galley kitchen.
Will the red and coral clash with sage-green or mustard cabinets?
No — those are the colours already inside the print. Sage cabinets pick up the deep and soft green tones in the vegetables, and mustard kitchens echo the yellow pepper. It actually pulls a painted kitchen together rather than fighting it. Avoid putting it next to bright primary red walls, which would compete.
Is the print finish smooth or does it really look hand-printed?
The illustration is drawn to look hand-printed — you'll see slightly chalky, broken edges where the ink hasn't fully filled in, which is the whole charm. On premium fine-art paper that texture reads cleanly without looking flat or digital. It feels closer to a screen print or linocut than a photograph.
