De zwarte lijn van de straatlantaarn loopt over de volle hoogte en maakt van een vergeten strook een bewuste keuze. De offwhite achtergrond valt weg tegen een krijtachtige muur, waardoor het zwart spreekt en het zachte roze subtiel op de achtergrond blijft. Hang de poster iets lager dan je gewend bent, met de onderrand ongeveer ter hoogte van de trapstijl, en laat de plafondhoogte het effect versterken.     All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Voelt de zwarte zijkant zwaar aan in een kleine hal?

    Minder dan je zou verwachten. Ongeveer driekwart van het beeld is gebroken wit, dus op een warmwitte muur leest het grootste deel als muur. Het zwart zit langs één rand en gedraagt zich als een hoge donkere deurpost in plaats van een donkere poster. Hang hem met de zwarte rand het dichtst bij de trap of een deuropening, dan accepteert het oog hem als deel van de architectuur.

    Hoe groot moet ik gaan op een trapbordes?

    Ga liever hoog dan voorzichtig. Op een bordes staat de kijker meestal twee of drie meter verderop en kijkt omhoog, dus alles onder ongeveer 80 cm hoog verliest het detail van de lantaarnpaal en wordt een donkere streep. Een stuk van 100 cm of meer hoog vult de muur goed, en de smalle breedte laat nog ruimte voor de leuning en de draai van de trap.

    Komt het roze echt door, of leest het als beige?

    Vanuit de kamer leest het als een warme papiertint dicht bij beige. Van dichtbij, in goed daglicht, is het blush duidelijk in de toren en de strook langs de linkerzijde. Wil je dat het roze echt opvalt, zet er een blush linnen kussen of een lichtroze plaid naast en het oog pikt het op. Tegen een koelgrijze muur oogt het warmer en duidelijker roze.
