How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm terracotta clash with a cool grey sofa?
Honestly, it might. The terracotta wall behind the cat is doing a lot of work, and it leans warm. If your room is built around cool greys, blue-greys or chrome, this print will sit in tension rather than blend in. It's much happier near oak, walnut, cream linen and warm off-white walls.
Is the cat the main focus, or the room?
It's a balance, but the room actually carries more weight than the cat. The black silhouette anchors the eye, but most of the composition is the warm wall, cream chair and coffee on the table. It reads as a calm interior scene with a cat in it, rather than a cat portrait.
Does this work in a small room or only big walls?
It's genuinely better in a smaller, contained space — a reading nook, a quiet study corner, or beside a bed. The warm terracotta wraps around you at close range. On a very large wall it can feel a touch lonely unless you pair it with one or two quieter pieces.
