Warme terracotta en gebrand oranje vormen een sierlijke octopus die zijn tentakels laat kronkelen door banen van blushroze, leisteenblauw en houtskool, met accenten van bladgoud. Een zeewezen voor wie kleur wil zonder schreeuwerig te worden. De zachte roze achtergrond houdt het geheel luchtig, terwijl de rijen roze zuignappen langs de krullende armen ritme geven aan de compositie. De warme roodtinten komen mooi tot hun recht tegen notenhout, rotan of een gestucte muur, en de leisteenblauwe baan sluit perfect aan bij grijs linnen of blauwgrijze tegels. Hang hem boven een console in de hal, aan de badkamerwand of aan het einde van de eettafel, bij voorkeur groot genoeg zodat de zwaai van de onderste tentakel ook van afstand goed leesbaar is. De poster is gedrukt op premium fine-art papier en verkrijgbaar oningelijst of in een echt houten lijst.

Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

What size works best for this octopus painting?
Go large if the wall allows. The appeal sits in the sweep of the lower tentacle, the rows of pink suckers and the gold leaf texture, and those details get lost at small sizes. Above a console or sideboard, aim for roughly two thirds of the furniture width. On a narrow wall between windows, a medium size still holds its own because the red body gives it a clear focal point.
Which colours does it bring into a room?
The ground is a soft plaster pink, and over it sits a terracotta-red and burnt-orange octopus. Behind it are bands of slate blue-grey, a sharp charcoal shard and patches of gold leaf. It suits rooms with rust, blush, warm white or clay tones, and the slate band ties it to grey linen, blue-grey tiles or pewter accents.
Does it suit a bathroom or only a living room?
It works well in a bathroom. The sea creature fits the room, and the warm palette sits nicely against terracotta tiles, brass fittings and limewashed walls. It is just as at home in a living room or at the end of a dining table. Wherever it goes, give it a plain wall, because the overlapping colour blocks already give the eye plenty to look at.
