    Februari is wanneer deze echt tot zijn recht komt. De tuin is kaal, het licht is schraal en een slaapkamerwand die in augustus prima leek, voelt ineens leeg. Hang een meter zomerse boomkroon boven het hoofdeinde en de kamer hoeft niet meer op de lente te wachten. Diep groen werkt krachtig tegen een kalkroze of offwhite muur. Combineer met saliegroen beddengoed, één linnen plaid, en verder geen groen in de ruimte. Hier telt de breedte meer dan de hoogte. Laat de poster de volle breedte van het bed volgen en hang hem zo laag dat het hoofdbord hem bijna raakt. Geen andere decoratie aan die wand. In juli verdwijnt hij rustig naar de achtergrond – precies goed. In de donkere maanden is het het enige blad in huis. Gedrukt op fine-artpapier blijven de lichte bladwassingen mooi zacht.

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Gaan de groenen botsen met een muur in salie of olijfgroen?

    Een saliekleurige muur werkt als hij lichter is dan de poster. Het diepe groen in de takken leest dan als schaduw en de lichte bladtinten springen van het oppervlak af. Olijfgroen is lastiger, omdat de kaki in de bast te dicht bij de verf zit en het geheel vlakker wordt. Kies op olijfgroen liever een witte of eiken lijst om een lijn tussen de twee te trekken.

    Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een kingsize bed?

    Streef naar twee derde van de breedte van het bed; bij een UK king is dat ongeveer 100 tot 120 cm breed. De takken hebben die reikwijdte nodig om echt als een boomkruin te voelen en niet als een afbeelding daarvan. Hang hem zo dat de onderrand een handbreedte boven het hoofdbord zit. Hoger en de ruimte tussen bed en poster gaat eruitzien als een fout.

    Werkt hij in een kamer zonder tuinzicht of met noordlicht?

    Daar komt hij juist het best tot zijn recht. Noordlicht is koel en gelijkmatig, wat goed past bij de gedempte groenen en voorkomt dat de lichte luchtdelen verbleken. In een kamer zonder uitzicht geeft een brede boomkruin boven de bank of het bed het oog iets om naartoe te gaan. Houd echte planten van die muur weg, zodat ze niet met elkaar concurreren.
