How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dusty pink and lilac read as too purple on a warm white nursery wall?
On warm white or soft cream walls the sky reads as a gentle pink-lilac rather than a strong purple, because the pink band across the horizon pulls the temperature back. If your walls are cool grey or blue-grey, the lilac will feel cooler — pair with cream textiles and pale wood to warm it up.
How small can Peter Rabbit go before he disappears in the frame?
The rabbit and robin already sit small in the bottom corner — the sky is the real subject. At small sizes they become a quiet detail rather than a focal character, so if you want Peter clearly visible from a cot or rocking chair, lean towards the medium size.
Does it work in a shared sibling room rather than a baby nursery?
Yes. The painterly finish and sunset palette feel softer and more grown-up than a typical character print, so it carries into a toddler or early-primary bedroom without looking babyish. Pair with plain bedding and a low bookshelf rather than bright character bedding.
