    Dit werk komt het mooist uit in de late middag. Op een westelijk georiënteerde overloop krijgt het een uur laag zonlicht: het rozenroze bovenin wordt warm, terwijl het grijsgroen eronder koel blijft. Die tweedeling is precies de kracht van dit stuk. Hang het op de muur bij de trapbocht, zodat je het elke dag in dat licht passeert. Omring het met kalkachtig, gebroken wit stucwerk; een donker wollen loper eronder; geen andere afbeeldingen op dezelfde wand. Tegen de avond vallen de groenen bijna naar zwart en draagt de bleke jurk de hele wand. Klimt schilderde Adele twee keer, en juist deze tweede versie werkt in huis, niet alleen in een museum. Geef het de ruimte: van vloer tot plafond als het trappenhuis het toelaat, en niets anders in het roze binnen bereik. Op fine-artpapier achter glas; een goudkleurige lijst vangt datzelfde late zonlicht op.

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Vechten het roze en groen met een donkergroene muur?
    Een donkergroene muur werkt prima, zolang die donkerder is dan de groenen in het beeld. De onderste helft zakt dan terug in de muur en de roze bovenkant zweeft erboven, wat op een overloop sterk oogt. Middelgroene of felle tinten zijn riskanter, omdat die concurreren met de achtergrond en het geheel vlak maken. Bij twijfel: ga donkerder.

    Hoeveel muurhoogte heeft het nodig op een overloop?
    Richt op minstens twee meter vrije hoogte. De figuur is volledig in lengte en heeft die ruimte nodig om als persoon te lezen in plaats van als vorm. Op een standaard overloop plaats je de onderrand ongeveer 60 cm boven de vloer, zodat het gezicht ongeveer op ooghoogte zit als je omhoog loopt. Alles onder ongeveer 90 cm hoog verliest al snel de bloemen en de ruiter op de achtergrond.

    Is het te intens voor een slaapkamer?
    Dat hangt van de muur af. Tegenover het bed kan de directe blik voelen als gezelschap dat je niet hebt uitgenodigd. Aan de muur naast het bed of tussen twee ramen werkt het juist goed, en in zacht lamplicht worden het grijsgroen en lila veel zachter. Houd het beddengoed rustig in haver of donkergroen en laat het beeld de kleur dragen.
