    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Voelt het bruin zwaar in een kleine woonkamer?
    Minder dan je zou verwachten. Bijna de helft van het beeld is crèmekleurige lucht en licht water, waardoor het donkere bruin laag langs de oevers blijft en de bovenste helft licht houdt. Hang hem in een kleine kamer 90 tot 100 cm breed aan de muur boven de bank en schilder die muur warm wit of putty. Dan leest het bruin als diepte in plaats van zwaarte, en doet het crème het werk.

    Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een kingsize bed?
    Richt op 100 tot 120 cm breed boven een kingsize hoofdbord. Dat is ongeveer twee derde van de bedbreedte, en precies waar een breed landschap bedoeld voelt in plaats van verloren. Zet de onderrand ongeveer 15 cm boven de bovenkant van het hoofdbord. Ga je smaller dan 90 cm, dan krimpt de rivier tot een klein beeld en verdwijnt het rustige effect van de breedte.

    Werkt het met een grijze bank?
    Dat hangt af van het grijs. Een warme grijstint of greige bank staat er goed onder, omdat het tan en crème in het beeld die warmte delen. Een koel blauwgrijs botst met het bruin en maakt het geheel wat modderig. Heb je een koelgrijze bank, voeg dan een roest- of camel kussen en een wollen plaid toe om de twee samen te brengen.
