How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft palette get lost on a cream or off-white wall?
It sits quietly rather than disappearing. The darker browns in the cat's outline and the deeper sage washes give it enough definition against cream and chalky off-white walls. If your wall is very bright white, a warm wood frame helps anchor it and adds a soft edge.
Does the cat look like a specific breed?
It reads as a slender oriental shorthair or siamese-type cat, with the long body, tall ears and tapered profile typical of those breeds. The handling is painterly rather than exact, so it works as a general cat portrait too, not just for owners of that specific breed.
What size works best above a standard chest of drawers or single bed?
A medium portrait size is the sweet spot. It gives the loose brushwork room to read at a comfortable viewing distance without overwhelming a low piece of furniture. For a double bed headboard or wider console, consider sizing up or pairing it with a second quiet piece.
