How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft blue and cream feel too pale on a white wall?
The charcoal linework carries the piece, so it still reads clearly on a white or off-white wall. If your wall is bright white, a slim black frame adds extra definition and stops the cream background blending in. On a warmer chalky off-white wall, it sits very naturally without competing.
Is this too themed for a regular living room?
No — the loose sketch style keeps it feeling like art rather than ski memorabilia. There's no resort name, no logo, no kit branding. It reads as a figure-in-motion drawing first, a skier second, so it sits comfortably in studies, hallways and living rooms that aren't ski-themed.
Does it work as a single piece or only in a gallery wall?
Both. It has enough movement and contrast to anchor a wall on its own above a desk or console. In a small cluster of two or three, pair it with other loose sketches or quiet cream-and-black pieces and let it sit as a mid-scale supporting work rather than the largest piece.
