How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the background plain white or off-white?
It's a clean, very slightly warm off-white — not a pure paper white and not a cream. On most walls it reads as white, with the heavy black outline and bright yellow doing all the work. It sits comfortably on chalky white, soft plaster and pale-painted walls without looking grey.
Will the yellow clash with a warm-wood kitchen?
No — the yellow is bright but clean, and it tends to lift pale oak, beech and warm walnut rather than fight them. The thing to watch for is competing colour: if you already have mustard tiles, a yellow kettle or a strong ochre rug, the print will start to feel like one accent too many.
Does it work above a kitchen counter, or only above a table?
Both work. Above a counter, hang it lower than you think so the bowl reads at standing eye-level and isn't lost behind a kettle or toaster. Above a small table, hang it low enough that someone seated can take it in without craning. Avoid a long stretch of empty wall below it.
