    Kies een maat groter. Een trapbordeswand is hoger dan breed; veel mensen hangen iets op schouderhoogte dat verdwaald oogt. Op circa 1 meter hoog stapelen de heuvels zich mee met de treden, en zie je de stippen en strepen vanuit de hal als subtiele textuur in plaats van drukte van dichtbij. Kleiner dan 60 cm en de rode zon wordt een punt. Teal tegen een kalkwitte muur is de makkelijke keuze. Tegen warm pleisterroze wordt het gedurfder, en gaan de rode boompjes langs de onderrand een gesprek aan met de muur. Houd de traploper effen wol, en laat de leuning het enige andere patroon zijn. Smalle gangen werken net zo: hang hem zo dat de zon net boven ooghoogte staat. Op fineart-papier blijven de minieme stipjes haarscherp, waarna een zwarte lijst de rest doet.

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Is het rood niet te fel in een kleine hal?
    Minder dan je misschien verwacht. Het rood zit in één zon en een paar bomen onderaan, en de rest van het beeld is teal en crème, waardoor de wand koel oogt met één warm punt. In een smalle hal is dat punt precies wat voorkomt dat de ruimte als een gang voelt. Houd jassen en lopers rustig, dan blijft het rood een accent in plaats van een strijd.

    Verdwijnt het patroon als je het vanaf onderaan de trap ziet?
    Op grote formaten gebeurt juist het tegenovergestelde. Vanaf drie meter afstand vloeien de stippen en strepen samen tot textuurbanden, waardoor je eerst de heuvels en lucht ziet en pas daarna de details, terwijl je erlangs naar boven gaat. Klein opgehangen wordt diezelfde detailsfeer een waas. Als je overloop diep genoeg is om hem vanaf de hal beneden te zien, kies dan minstens 90 cm hoog.

    Welke muurkleur werkt het best achter teal?
    Krijtwit is de veilige keuze en laat het teal diep blijven. Warm pleisterroze is de gedurfdere optie, die het rood oppakt zonder het te kopiëren, en past goed in noordelijke hallen die warmte nodig hebben. Vermijd een teal- of groene muur, omdat de heuvels daarin wegvallen, en vermijd fel rood, dat de zon wegdrukt. Zacht mosterd werkt ook als de ruimte eiken of rotan meubels heeft.
