How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright blue sky overwhelm a small room?
The blue is bold but it sits at the top of the picture, with deep green, terracotta and soft pink doing most of the work below. In a small room it reads as a confident pop rather than wall-to-wall colour. Keep surrounding walls calm — chalky off-white or warm cream — and it settles in nicely.
Is the picture better in portrait or hung sideways?
Portrait only. The composition is built vertically — cypress spires reaching up, the soft pink street pulling down through the centre, houses stacked up the hillside. Turned sideways it loses the climb and the cypress trees stop making sense.
Does it work in a room that already has a lot going on?
Honestly, it's happier as the loud thing in the room. If your walls already carry busy wallpaper, lots of pattern or other bright artwork, this one will fight for attention. Give it a calm wall and let it carry the colour by itself.
