Over dit kunstwerk
Twee aardbeien — één heel, één gehalveerd — staan groot en helder op een warme roomkleurige achtergrond, geschilderd in vlak felrood, zachtroze en donkergroen.
Met deze poster wordt de keuken meteen rustiger. Een eenvoudige getegelde spatwand, een rij mokken, een fruitschaal — alledaagse dingen voelen ineens doordacht, omdat de wand het zware werk doet.
Komt mooi uit op een accentmuur boven een dressoir, in een ontbijthoek of in de strook naast een hoge kast. Ooghoogte is ideaal; boven een console of aanrecht mag hij iets hoger.
Combineer met warme houtsoorten — eiken, beuken, walnoot — crèmekleurig keramiek, zachtroze linnen, messing grepen en één groene plant. Een zwarte of eiken lijst laat het rood spreken.
Hang niet naast een andere grote, drukke blikvanger; deze poster is het liefst de enige die de aandacht vraagt. Gedrukt op dik fine-art papier met een zachte, matte afwerking.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright red overwhelm a small kitchen?
It's bold but not heavy — the warm cream background takes up most of the picture, so the red reads as a single confident note rather than a wall of colour. In a small kitchen, hang it solo on a plain wall and keep the surface below quiet. It will lift the room, not shrink it.
Does the print work outside a kitchen?
Yes. It's at home in a dining nook, a breakfast corner, or even an entryway where you want something cheerful on the way in. Anywhere with warm cream or pale plaster walls and a bit of natural wood will suit it. Avoid rooms that are already busy with pattern or strong competing colours.
Is the soft pink centre a strong pink or quite subtle?
Quite subtle. The pink sits inside a cream cross-section and reads as a gentle blush rather than a vivid pink. The dominant colours are the bright red outline and the dark green leaves; the pink is a quiet middle note that softens the whole composition.
