How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the background a true flat black, or does it have any texture?
It's a deep, near-black ground with a faint painterly grain and tiny scattered stars, rather than a flat printed black. Up close you can see the brushwork around the cloud's edges and a subtle warm shadow underneath. From a few steps back it reads as a clean, calm night sky.
Will this feel too heavy in a small bedroom?
Not usually. The dark ground actually pushes the wall back visually, which can make a small bedroom feel deeper and calmer rather than smaller. The single cloud gives the eye a clear focal point. It works best above a bed or low chest, with one warm lamp nearby rather than bright overhead lighting.
Does it work in a nursery, or is it too moody?
It works well in a nursery if you're leaning calm and dreamy rather than bright and primary. The cloud and stars are gentle, and the warm cream tones soften the dark sky. Pair with pale wood, cream bedding and a soft night light so the room feels peaceful rather than dim.
