How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft yellow look too pale on a cream wall?
It holds its own well. The warm yellow sits next to a sage green shutter and a pale blue floor, so there's enough contrast to read clearly on cream or off-white walls. If your wall is very bright white, a pale oak frame helps anchor it. On darker painted walls, the yellow will actually feel brighter and more sunlit.
Does this work in a room that doesn't get much daylight?
Yes. The painting carries its own warm light — the yellow and cream do a lot of the work. In a darker room it can feel like a little window of summer on the wall. A warm-toned lamp nearby will lift it further. Avoid hanging it on a very dark wall, where the soft palette can lose some of its glow.
Is the composition too empty for a main wall?
It's intentionally quiet, which is its strength. As a solo piece above a sideboard, console or bed, the open space reads as calm rather than sparse. If you want more presence, size up to a larger format, or pair it with one other gentle piece in a similar soft palette rather than crowding it with busy art.
