    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the rust brown look too dark on a small wall?

    It reads warm rather than heavy, because the pale blue shapes break the brown up across most of the picture. On a small wall, go a size down and keep the surrounding wall bare. Painted off-white or warm white walls suit it best, since a strong wall colour will compete with the brown ground.

    Does it work in a north-facing room?

    Yes, and it's a sensible pick for one. Cooler daylight tends to flatten grey and blue-heavy art, while the rust brown here holds its warmth. The pale blue shapes stay light rather than turning grey. A lamp nearby in the evening will bring out the warmer brown patches along the edges.

    How much clear wall does it need either side?

    Aim for at least 20cm of bare wall on each side, more if you can. The grid runs right to the edges of the picture, so anything hung close by makes the shapes harder to read. Above a sideboard or bench, centre it and keep the surface below it to one or two objects.
