How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the texture in the painting visible in the print?
Yes. The thick brushwork, palette-knife dabs and the fringe-like ridges at the top are clearly visible in the print — you can read every stroke. It looks painted rather than flat, even though the surface itself is smooth. The texture is part of the appeal, especially at larger sizes.
Will the red zigzags look too strong in a calm room?
The deep red is balanced by the cream, sage and dusty pink around it, so it reads as warm rather than loud. In a calm room with oat, linen and pale wood, the zigzags add interest without taking over. If your walls are very white and bare, expect the red to be the first thing the eye lands on.
Does this work as the only piece on a wall, or does it need company?
It works best on its own. The composition already has lots of pattern, colour and movement built in, so adding more art nearby tends to crowd it. Give it a clear wall — above a sofa, a bed, or a console — and let it do the talking.
