    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will the small owls still read from across the room?
    At a medium size, yes. Each owl is about the size of a hand, so from a couple of metres away you see rows of soft brown shapes and warm leaves. Step closer and the faces, feathers and berries come through. If your wall is viewed mainly from a distance, size up rather than down.

    Does it work outside a nursery?
    It does. The cream and warm brown palette is calm enough for a hallway, a landing, a study corner or a snug reading nook. Away from baby furniture it reads as a soft woodland pattern rather than a children's piece, especially on an off-white wall with pale wood and wool nearby.

    Will it clash with patterned nursery wallpaper?
    Usually, yes. This is already a full repeat, so hanging it over floral or striped wallpaper gives you two competing patterns. Keep it on a plain painted wall, or pick the quietest wall in a papered room. If the paper is a very fine texture in cream, it can just about work.
