Put it up and a neutral wall suddenly has a focal point: the beige stops reading as empty and starts reading as deliberate. It's built for a tall, narrow wall — a chimney breast, the space between two windows, or the far end of a hallway where the eye lands. Pair it with bouclé or linen seating, stoneware, and a mix of pale and dark timber. What it doesn't want is competition.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the black areas feel too heavy in a small room?

    The dark shapes are broken up by cream and warm brown, so they read as contrast rather than a solid dark block. In a small room, go one size down and hang it on the lightest wall you have. Keep the surrounding wall clear and the darks act as a full stop, not a shadow.

    Does it work on a warm beige or plaster-coloured wall?

    Yes, and it's one of the better options. The cream and warm brown in the piece sit close to plaster and beige tones, so the artwork looks built into the wall rather than stuck on it. The black shapes then do all the work, giving you definition without adding a new colour to the room.

    Is the composition too cropped to read from across the room?

    It's a close crop of large curved shapes, which actually helps at distance — the forms stay legible from three or four metres. Up close you get the brushed, chalky surface. Hang it where people see it from a few steps back, such as opposite a sofa or at the end of a hallway.
