    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will this feel too stark against pale walls?

    Not usually. Against off-white or pale grey walls the deep black reads as an anchor rather than a hole, and the soft grey wedge in the lower corner keeps it from feeling flat. If your room is already very white and hard, warm it up with linen, oak or a rug in a soft neutral to balance the contrast.

    Does it need a black frame or would something else work?

    A slim black frame is the strongest match — it extends the graphic edge and keeps everything reading as one clean shape. Oak can work if your room leans warm and Scandinavian, but avoid brown or gold; they compete with the pure black and mid-grey and soften the modern feel the piece is built on.

    How much wall space should I give it?

    Give it room to breathe. Aim for a clear wall at least around 70cm wide with plenty of empty space either side and above. This piece is a solo anchor, not a gallery-wall component, so crowding it with other frames or shelves fights the contrast that makes it work.
