    Om detta konstverk

There's a reason painters kept returning to loose, bright abstracts; rooms still respond. This one puts bright blue over soft pink and lets red, yellow and green break across the middle. Hang it in a plain room and the whole wall picks up energy — you stop noticing the empty corners and start noticing colour. It works above a sideboard, a bed or a desk, and it holds a small landing or box room on its own. Keep everything around it calm: plain linen, white ceramics, pale or painted wood, one solid-colour rug. What not to do is crowd it with patterned cushions, busy wallpaper or a second bright artwork on the same wall — the marks need space to land. As a canvas the brushed bands read softer and more painterly up close.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this much colour clash with a room that already has patterned cushions or rugs?

It can. The piece throws out bright blue, pink, red, yellow and green all at once, so it reads best against plain fabrics. Keep cushions, rugs and curtains in solid colours pulled from the artwork, or in plain off-white and grey. If your textiles are already patterned, hang it on the opposite wall rather than directly above them.

What wall colour works best behind it?

Plain off-white, soft grey or chalky pale pink all work well and let the blue do the talking. A mid-blue wall will flatten it, and a strong yellow or green wall will fight the smaller marks. If you have a dark wall, keep the piece large so the pale pink lower half still reads clearly from across the room.

Does it need to be big to work?

It benefits from size. The composition mixes broad painted bands with fine scribbled lines, and at small scale those thin marks blur into the background. A large or statement square gives every layer room to breathe and lets it act as the main event on the wall. Small sizes suit a landing or a tight alcove only.
